What is Flatbed digital printing machine and its advantage?
Flatbed digital printing is a large-format inkjet printing technology that extends beyond standard inkjet capabilities. It allows for printing on a wide variety of substrates not typically associated with standard inkjet printers. These materials range from plastic, paperboard, ceramic tile, acrylic, fabric, and wood. Also, more unconventional substrates like glass, carpet, and even game board felt materials.
With adjustable printing beds, flatbed digital printing can accommodate larger substrates. This enables printing on items as thin as a sheet of paper or as thick as a wooden door. Some machines are even capable of printing on materials several inches thick, limited only by the flatness of the substrate and the printing device’s capabilities.
